Nose Art Project
by
Andy Anzanos

The Nose Art project has progressed very well. We have now completed the South wall and are beginning the plans for the West wall where space is available for a dozen more Nose Arts.

Since our last bulletin we have received donations from the following contributors: James Blake, Leona Boettcher, Kay Byrne, Richard Bushong, Ken Daugherty, Carl Kurtz, George McKee, Herbert Nuber, Phyllis Marie Row, Alan Smith and Bill Trueblood. Also Bill Pennebaker and Richard Sawyer donated for additional nose arts. We are most appreciative for their support. This brings us to 31 Nose Arts total finishing the South Wall and includes two that are in the works for the West wall.

Completed South Wall

Donations for the 12 remaining spaces on the West Wall are still open for supporters to this project at $275 per panel.

Bare West Wall

We have the art work completed and ready for printing and mounting (where the solicitation of the $275 comes in) for the following additional aircraft (but not limited to):

Bob Tail Batter
Canadian Club
Lovable Lass
Miss Fortune
Prowlin Tom
Rovin Ramona
Shatzi
Six Nights in Telergm
The Vulture
We’ll Never Know

These examples of the South Wall Nose Art are low resolution compared to what's on the Nose Art CD available in our Gift Shop.
