Dear Cori,

Enclosed find two checks, one for the 390th Memorial Museum Endowment Fund and the other for the operation of the museum.

Many years ago I visited the 390th Museum on my way to California to visit my daughter.  Entering the museum, the first thing I observed was the B-17.  I cannot put into words the feeling that overcame me at that moment.  I met Ben Bennett, (a wonderful person) and he allowed me to venture inside the B-17.  As I entered the B-17, I almost expected to see our crew.  I felt their presence, a feeling I’ll never forget.

The memorabilia was impressive.  Viewing the photos of the combat crews, the hut, the plaques of members of the 390th, the A2 jackets, which incidentally, I still have mine in fair condition.  Finally the signatures on the wall, I signed my name and felt proud to be a part of the wonderful 390th Memorial Museum Foundation.
