A Museum Builder Returns

Otto Vent was the sole returnee this year of the veterans who annually came to aid in the construction and upkeep of the Museum and it’s B-17.  Bill Frostick suffered a back operation which prevented another record breaking trek of continuous support.

This year Otto has  replaced the old warped ceiling tile in the memorial area of the Museum where the recently added “Killed in Service” display is located, inventoried our sales items and manicured the B-17 along with some other odd jobs.

Annually, Otto along with his wife Mary Ann and son Christopher, from  Michigan  make the trip to Tucson to support our Museum.  Otto is also the vice-president of the 390th Veterans Association.
