390th Memorial Museum
Presidential Change

After four years of dedicated service, Frank Drain has turned over the presidency of the 390th Memorial Museum Foundation to Mary Truitt.  Mary is the daughter of our veteran, Bill Pennebaker.

Mary resides with her husband, Jim in Midland, Texas and is currently employed as an accounting supervisor for a 68,000 barrel per day oil company in Big Springs, Texas.  Mary was introduced to the 390th Veterans Association and the Museum in 1982 by her father and has attended reunions ever since.

Bill Pennebaker  flew 44 missions with the 390th, 42 of which he was the command pilot, a record.

Along with Mary becoming president, Don Brooks became first vice-president. The positions were announced after the foundation board meeting of 17 April, 2004.                             AA
