Can anyone post information regarding the reunion? An earlier post indicated it was being held in October in Tennessee. Please let me know how to gather more info. Thanks.

I’m the grandson of George T. Hodgins (deceased) who flew missions on the Cash and Carry. He was a gunner. The plane was shot down over Germany and he was taken prisoner sometime during October 1943. If anyone has any information in regards to the plane or my grandfather I would greatly appreciate the response. Thank you. Gary T. Palmieri kgpalmieri@gmail.com
I do quite a bit of research for veterans fmilies so I am on many web sites and I have to say the 390th stands alone at the top with Carolyn Beaubien being on of the most outstanding researchers. Thanks to all for your dedication and hard work. New website is first class.
My father, Edward J. Power, was a member of the 570th (co-pilot). He passed away on 30 July. He retired after 40 years of service from the Air Force as a BG. He flew for all of those years. This web site is wonderful. It has helped me to understand the sacrifices that many young men his age made for our freedom. He was always a hero to me and remains so. God Bless all who served and sacrified for our freedom and our country!
I just logged in to the new website. Very impressive. Thanks for all that you do to honor and remember the men from the 390th, and all of the other veterans of WWII. I’m sure I will visit the site often. With good planning, I hope to be able to attend my first reunion next year in Tucson. If I can make it, that will be my second visit to the museum. Thanks!

Larry Papach:
Thank you for your comments on our Web Page. If you will send me your Uncle’s name I would be glad to send you his combat record.
