This is a lithograph of a pen and ink drawing of one of the most famous B-17s of the 390th Bomb Group. The lithographs are autographed by the artist. He did only 300 of these lithographs and many have been sold. Relatively few are now available and they will never be reprinted. Unframed.

The Story of the 390th Bombardment Group (H) (The Blue Book) 472 pages, 11”x13”, 20 lbs, of official 390th history, copyrighted 1947. Book is crammed with original, authentic pictures of both combat and support units, mission details, crew pictures, targets, humorous incidents as well as those not so humorous, addresses, awards and etc. A must if you don’t have one.

Volume II of The 390th Bomb Group Anthology includes 79 stories written by 63 members of the 390th Bomb Group relating their personal experiences during the World War II years of 1943, 1944 and 1945. As in Volume 1, the stories include combat briefs, mission troubles, humor in the midst of war, evasion and imprisonment after being shot down. The strength of this collection is that the stories are presented through the eyes of the participants. Some of the articles were written as they happened during the war years while others are recollections of those events about forty years later. The reader will be provided with a vivid, colorful insight of wartime service with a very famous Bomber Group in the Eighth Air Force.
