    Our organization represents the men of the 445th Bomb Group, 2nd Air Division, 8th AAF as well as being dedicated to the men of the Kassel Mission of 27 September 1944, when 99 men were taken prisoner in Germany, and 118 Americans died. This is the greatest loss ever of any group in a single day’s battle.
