Volume II of The 390th Bomb Group Anthology includes 79 stories written by 63 members of the 390th Bomb Group relating their personal experiences during the World War II years of 1943, 1944 and 1945. As in Volume 1, the stories include combat briefs, mission troubles, humor in the midst of war, evasion and imprisonment after being shot down.

The strength of this collection is that the stories are presented through the eyes of the participants. Some of the articles were written as they happened during the war years while others are recollections of those events about forty years later. The reader will be provided with a vivid, colorful insight of wartime service with a very famous Bomber Group in the Eighth Air Force.

Interviews of the crew of a special 390th Bomb Group B-17 bomber done forty five years after the war.  These men who survived the war tell how it was in a highly acclaimed DVD which includes their personal thoughts and some actual combat footage.  Runs 57 minutes.

Book is crammed with original, authentic pictures of both combat and support units, mission details, crew pictures, targets, humorous incidents as well as those not so humorous, addresses, awards and etc. A must if you don’t have one.

Custom-designed woven throw, measuring 50” X 60”. This is a wonderfully soft 100% cotton article that features carefully reproduced renditions of Station 153, squadron insignias, B-17s and other related images.

Full color poster depicting one of the most famous Eighth Air Force photographs of World War II.  The original photograph was in black and white.  This poster is a lithograph of a superb painting of that photograph with an accurate rendition of the actual color added by the artist.  Unframed.

This 97 minute DVD includes scenes in and around the 390th Memorial Museum plus excerpts from interviews with veterans of the 390th Bomb Group.  In addition there are some humorous clips from a recent Foundation reunion in Tucson, Arizona.
